Men's vest: cream-colored satin with (2) rows of black and white patchwork and (14) rows of black and white ric-rac. Vest is lined. There is a tag sewn in at the nape of the neck which reads: "Osceola Sales Co." The tag also has an outline of a telephone and the number "(305) 962-8303." The tag most likely refers to the clothing company owned by Moses Osceola in Hollywood, Fl. This vest was dontated by Richard Chalker and his wife, Lana. Richard's father was a Baptist Minister in Hollywood, where he interacted often with the Seminole community. |
