Acrylic painting of Osceola by Noah Billie. The painting shows the bust of Osceola facing slightly to the proper left (PL). Osceola is shown wearing an American flag draped over his shoulders. A yellow kerchief is tied around his neck and two gorgets are visible over the kerchief and under the edges of the flag. Osceola has a yellow and red turban on his head with three large feathers (two black and one white) coming out of the PR side of the turban. The painting is framed by four thin planks of red painting plywood nailed together. |
