Description |
Child's skirt; predominantly yellow with one row of modern patchwork. Six rows of applique (purple, maroon, red, blue). Bands of patchwork: green, red, blue, orange, purple, navy, pink, ceyledon, maroon, crimson, light blue, with ladder pattern at bottom. This item was donated by Katherine "Kitti" Ginn. Kitti's grandfather-in law, Robert Peyinghaus, was an engineer who worked with the Seminole/Miccosukee poeple. The items in this collection were giftet to Robert and his wife by the Seminole Tribe. |
