Description |
Child's sleeved turquoise blue dress with attached maroon cape. The bodice and sleeves are turquoise blue and are closed at the back of the neck and at the back of the waist with two ties made from the same turquoise fabric. The patchwork skirt is pleated and attached at the waist line. The skirt is 57cm long and 82 cm wide at the bottom of the skirt. There are two rows of patchwork on the skirt. The upper row is a man on horseback pattern of green/blue textile on a cream background. The lower patchwork row is the cross or sacred fire pattern with black crosses with pink center sections on a yellow background. There are a number of maroon, yellow, black, red and white bands of color on the skirt as well. The maroon cape is attached at the neck of the dress and measures 27cm long. It has one row of patchwork in a cross or sacred fire pattern. This row has white crosses with red centers on a blue background. The cape also has thin rows of white, red, yellow and black. |
