Handmade female doll with wide-brimmed hat and beaded necklaces and earrings. Body is palmetto fiber wrapped into a cylindrical shape. Hat made of thin, black fabric and sewn to fit on back of head. Multi-color beads are wrapped around neck and also make up the looped earrings. The dress is patchwork of various yellow, green, purple, and white cotton fabrics and trimmings. |
