The negative is of Louise Osceola (left, #3) and Mary Frances Cypress (right, #10), who are dressed in patchwork and are participating in a clothing contest during Brighton Field Days at the Brighton reservation. The exact date is unknown. There is no known corresponding photo print. This photographic negative is part of a group of images transferred from Seminole Media Productions (SMP). Most, if not all, of the photographs were taken by Seminole Tribune newspaper reporters. |
