Antique Broadcloth, 1.25 yards of red trade wool with white selvage edge. This type of cloth saw extensive use as trade item to Native Americans
This is a section of plain weave red wool trade cloth. The weft sides both have salvage edges with one inch of lighter dyed areas. The warp sides are both rough cut. There is a twill-tape tag sewn into one corner of the cloth that has "9601.2.1" written on it in black ink.
