Brain tanned Whitetail Deerskin. The deerskin is of irregular shape with th edges protruding in the areas where the legs would have been. There are ripples along the edge of the deerskin due to the three dimensionality of the original deer and from the stretching in the hide during the brain tanning process. The skin is flexible and still supple.
