Object Name Rug
Description Wool or jute ingrain carpet. It is a pile-less, loom-woven floor covering of double construction. Red and maroon wide strips make up the background. Gold and green tropical flower and leaf designs throughout. Rug is four pieces sewn together, because it was woven on a 36" jaquard loom. There are also several hand sewn patches in various spots. The designs appear on both sides, making the carpet reversible.
