Object Name Doll
Description Seminole Male wooden doll with patchwork big shirt and painted head and feet. The doll's face, legs and feet are painted dark. The doll wears a flat topped hat that is red with painted black "Z" and green borders around the outside. The doll's nose is carved and eyes, hair and lips are indicated by paint. The bigshirt is made from black, orange, yellow, green, and red cotton with two rows of black and yellow "fire" pattern patchwork rows. The doll has a pink cotton hankerchief around it's neck that is secured in the front with a few small stitches. The doll's legs and feet are carved seperately, but they are united on a single oval shaped base. The doll has no arms and the sleeves of the bigshirt are stitched to the waist of the bigshirt.
