Object Name Doll
Description Female palmetto fiber doll. The doll has a necklace of transparent turquoise glass beads wound four times around her neck. She has drop earring on her PL side with a small fake pearl bead on top of a metallic bead. The doll has a patchwork skirt with purple, pink, orange, cream, green and yellow strips of cotton textile. There are two rows of patchwork. The upper patchwork row is a "rain or storm" checker board pattern in blue and yellow textile. The lower patchwork row is a "fire" pattern in purple and cream colored cotton textile. The cape is made from red, purple, cream, black and blue strips of cotton textile. The doll's traditional Seminole hairstyle is indicated by black fabric pulled over a rigid form on the head of the doll.
