|Object Name||Print, Photographic|
B/W print, mounted on white cardboard. The print is a photograph of a group of men in uniform, standing in two rows, in front of a stone building. The photograph is described by accompanying handwritten text. The text says "Indians. St. Augustine. 1875. Western Indians. Confined at Fort Marion. (Castillo de San Marcos). Also, "Source: Wilson and Havens. Savannah, Ga. (227). FSU Stereo Neg 4379."
The photograph's subject and source are identified by the typed text on the cardboard, to the left of the photograph. Appears to have been produced this way by a large institution of archival material, because a stamp on the back says "Reproduced from the State Photographic Archives, Stozier Library, FSU, in order to fulfill a request for a copy of one of their documents.
