Color photograph of a group of men playing touch football. The players are pictured on an athletic field located on the Seminole Tribe's Hollywood Reservation. The opposing teams consisted of professional football players from the Miami Dolphins All-Pro squad and staff members from the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Recreation Department. It took place on January 22, 2000. A handwritten note on the back of the photo reads, "Indian Day, Elrod" (a portion of the text is indecipherable).
This event was covered in the February 11, 2000 edition of The Seminole Tribune, Vol. 21 No.2. The article, titled "Dolphins Score Victory", and associated photos were composed by Seminole Tribune reporter Elrod Bowers.
This photograph is part of a group of images transferred from Seminole Media Productions (SMP). Most, if not all, of the photographs were taken by Seminole Tribune newspaper reporters.
