The photo was taken on July 3, 2005 and was taken prior to the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) event.

This event was covered in the July 22, 2005 edition of The Seminole Tribune, Vol. 26 No. 10. The article titled, "ISY&LR Celebrates Independence Day", was written by Tribune contributor Judy Weeks; associated images were taken by Ron Mandes.
