letter from Corinna (Mrs. C. E. Aldrich) in Marietta, Georgia, to her brother (Mannevillette Elihu Dearing Brown) in Paris. She says she is thrilled at last that he is coming home. But sad that they have left Macon and moved to Marietta, but that they no longer have their own comfortable house for him to visit. Edward did not do well enough in Macon, because there were too many doctors. Edward is trying to figure out where to move, and the may not stay in Marietta for long, as it is a little village. She says if they stay, she will show the locals "how Yankees keep house!" They are in Cobb county, which was purchased some 15 years ago from the Cherokee.
