Boehmers Recall Early Days with Seminoles

Billy Conepatchie (Billy Cornpatch) from Big Cypress, went to school in Ft. Myers, and lived with the Hendry family, all previous to 1900.
Tony Tommie in Ft. Lauderdale and went to Carlisle Indian School
1938 Richard Osceola, father of Joe Dan Osceola, instrumental in getting a school in Brighton. The Boehmer's came to Florida from South Dakota and the Sioux people.
