Newspaper article from an unknown Fort Myers, Florida based newspaper. The article is entitled, "Indian Girl Gives Beautiful Painting." The article is in regards to an oil painting of Seminole Chief Osceola that was given to Lucien A. Spencer from a Creek Indian girl.
The clipping was part of a research notebook that belonged to Francis Frost White, an employee of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in Dania in the 1930s and 40s.
