Newspaper clipping from the Fort Myers Tropical News entitled, "Seminoles Are Now at Labellechautauqua." The article is in regards to a band of twenty-five Seminole Tribal members who were transported to LaBelle Chautauqua for three days to participate in various performances and display their headwork as part of an attraction for non-tribal members.
The clipping was part of a research notebook that belonged to Francis Frost White, an employee of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in Dania in the 1930s and 40s.
