Scope & Content Brown hardcovered book entitled "U Le Lah Princess of the Hir Ri Hi Gua of South Tampa Bay" Florida's Pocahontas. The story encompasses the time from April 15, 1528 to May 25, 1539 and is depicted as America's first romance, telling the story of U Le Lah saving the life of a Spanish boy named Juan Ortiz. The book was written by Myrtle Taylor Bradford and published in 1936. The inside front cover has a hand written dedication to Bee Cypress and signed and dated by the author.
