Object Name Letter
Scope & Content letter from Corinna (Mrs. C. E. Aldrich) in Key West, to her brother (Mannevillette Elihu Dearing Brown) in Utica. She says Ellen is about to go to St. Mary's, Georgia, because she can't get a comfortable place to live in Key West and whooping cough is becoming prevalent around the island. Corinna says Ellen can see about their things, as they will all be leaving Key West, which she is more happy to leave than any other place she has been. They are moving to New York. She says she is sorry that Mrs. Walker and Mary are sick, and that she thinks they are consumptives (tuberculosis).
