Color lithograph postcard of a tree lined, Autumn, country road in Osceola, Iowa. To the right of the road a lake or river is visible through the trees. Below the image is printed "Greetings from Osceola, Iowa" and "SA-H2494". In the top right corner of the postcard is printed "S.400". The surface of the postcard on the front has a woven texture imprinted (cast?) into it.
Printed vertically on the back of the postcard is "C.T. River Scenes - 10 Subjects" and "Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. Art-Colortone" Post Card (Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.)". There is a green one cent stamp in the upper right corner with the bust of John James Audubon. The postmark reads, "Osceola, Iowa, Jul 26, 1940, 11AM". Handwritten on the back of the postcard in pen is "Greetings from the West. Uncle John and Aunt Frannie and Nancy (?). Ms. Jennie Identz (?), 721 Moss St. Reading, PA".
