Scope & Content Black and tie photograph postcard of a Seminole mother and son. The mother is sewing patchwork on a hand-crank sewing machine and the small boy is sitting on the ground in front of her. Both wear patchwork. The white printing on the bottom of the image reads, "Seminole Indian woman sewing. Musa Isle (Doubleday)." The back of the postcard has areas for correspondence and address, but there is no handwritten message on the postcard. 5 3/8" x 3 3/8"
