Newspaper clipping written by Cecil R. Warren for The Miami Daily News entitled "Indian Women Without Food As White Hunters Kill Pigs." The article discusses the thievery of pigs from Seminole Indians, which deprived Tribal members of much needed funds to purchase food. There is also brief mention of Indian clothing.
This article is part four of a daily series. The series reported the findings of an investigation of Everglades camps occupied by Seminole Indians. Tribal members cited in the article include: Sam Tommy, Willy Johns, and Sam Jones.
The clipping was part of a research notebook that belonged to Francis Frost White, an employee of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in Dania in the 1930s and 40s.
