Color postcard of a painting (?) depicting Osceola, a woman and a boy in front of a chickee with platform. The boy is carrying a dead rabbit. Osceola is holding the barrel of a rifle in his left hand and is gesturing off to the side with his right hand. Below the image is printed, "Seminole Room, Fort Marion, St. Augustine, Fla. 80364"
The text on the back of the postcard reads, "Seminole Room, Fort Marion, St. Augustine, Fla. Seminole Casemate, Fort Marion. Showing Osceola just returned from the hunt. This group presented to the Historical Society by the Hon. Chaucey M. Depew." Along the left side is printed vertically is, "Published by W.J. Harris Co., St. Augustine, Fla." In the middle is printed vertically, "C.T. American Art Colored." There are designated areas for a message, a one cent stamp and lines for an address.
