Scope & Content Letter to Mannevillette Elihu Dearing Brown in Paris, from Mr. and Mrs. Walker in Utica. They have recieved a shipment of Manne's works of art, and they rave about them. Mrs. Walker also relates the news of the town. Mr. Walker tells Manne of a Mr. Martin who wants Manne to paint a picture of his four children, and says he will pay 300$ for it. He also says Manne can board locally for 5$ a week, which is only 120$ for 6 months.
