Letter from Corinna (Mrs. C. E. Aldrich) to her brother Manne (Mannevillette Elihu Dearing Brown), says that she is not married yet, and wonders if George (Brown) will stay in Pittsburgh. also includes: "I have heard that Osceola says he does not intend to fight any more. He is at the camp of the Regulars with 1500 warriors - they are peaceable, but will not give up their arms - the Secretary of War has advised that no active measure be taken to remove them until after the first of November. If these oders are obeyed they probably about that time will be ready to try another shooting match with the pale faces. the object...is to give them the opportunity to go peaceably if they will - I hope they may be so inclined
