Wood engraving with a central image of Osceola's wife and child. The page is taken out of a book. Osceola's wife is shown from her waist up facing forwards. The engraving is signed "RICHARDSONSC" and below the engraving is written, "THE WIFE AND CHILD OF OSCEOLA."
The passage on the back of the page is a short narrative about the Seminoles of Florida. The page is numbered as "591" and was presumably that page in a larger book.
