Object Name Letter
Scope & Content Letter written by Thomas Gold in Columbus, Georgia to Mrs. T.R. Gold in Whitesboro, Oneida County, New York. In the letter Thomas speaks of money and states that he is a broke merchant. It is believed that his business venture failed and he plans to return home. The third page of the letter has the black and red double layer of ink making that page difficult to read.
